Strange things are happening in this village in the beautiful Pays des Collines. The unusual appears on every street corner, in the groves or even the edge of a wood inviting the walker to enjoy a pleasant 5,700 km stroll.
The idea of a walk in the heart of nature, decorated with sculptures, bas-reliefs representing witches, elves, and other devilry, germinated in the 1980s in the mind of Watkyne, this initiator of folk art, sabbats, and other fun local festivities.
The omnipresent nature is another attraction of the region. It is still particularly well preserved, to the point that the creation of a natural park was completed in 1995. Indeed, it is still possible to admire green and undulating landscapes where nestle numerous hamlets with red roofs that enliven the landscape and contrast with the green of nature.
Along the route, walkers will also encounter numerous chapels, attesting to a strong religious belief in the 19th century. But has it really disappeared?
